FARMINGTON – Esther Mildred Petersen, 95, of Winchester, Mass., died Sunday morning, July 18, at the Sandy River Center for Healthcare and Rehabilitation, Farmington, where she had been a patient for eight days.

Born in Quincy, Mass., April 2, 1909, a daughter of Gustav and Emma (Molander) Ross, she married Andrew Peter Petersen in 1927, and he died in 1969.

Mrs. Petersen was a devoted homemaker who placed her family as her top priority.

She is survived by one son, William A. Petersen and his wife, Esther, of Arlington, Mass.; two daughters, Shirley Hutchins, of Farmington and Linda Moisan and her husband, Robert, of Winchester, Mass.; six grandchildren, William A. Petersen Jr., Susan Hutchins, Ronald Hutchins, Christopher Moisan, Kathryn Petersen Salvati and Peter J. Moisan; and two great-granddaughters, Hannah and Chloe Petersen.
