PARIS – One man was hospitalized after two cars collided Wednesday on High Street.

Seth Holbrook, 19, of Paris was driving a 1999 Ford Taurus north on High Street about 3:18 p.m. when he collided with a 1998 Chevrolet Malibu driven by Jean Tyner, 63, of West Paris, Sgt. Michael Daily of the Paris Police Department said Thursday.

Holbrook reported chest and shoulder pain, but was not taken to the hospital, according to Daily. Tyner complained of neck and back pain and was taken to Stephens Memorial Hospital, where she was treated and released, according to hospital officials.

Daily said both drivers were wearing seat belts, and the air bags deployed in each car. He estimated the damage to each vehicle at $6,000.
