HOMESTEAD, Fla. – Amanda Joyce Davis and Gregory Michael Knight met in Kuwait after returning from Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003.
Amanda Joyce Davis and Gregory Michael Knight were married June 18 in Homestead, Fla.
The bride is the daughter Leonard and Thea Davis and granddaughter of Joyce Arnold, all of Lisbon Falls. The bridegroom is the son of Marie and Robert Wilson of Homestead, Fla.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of Lisbon High School in Lisbon and is currently a specialist in the U.S. Army, a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom and currently stationed at Ft. Stewart, Ga.
The bridegroom is a 1995 graduate of Southern Cayuga High School in Poplar Ridge, N.Y. He is currently a specialist in the U.S. Army, a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom and also currently stationed at Ft. Stewart, Ga.
Notary public Stephanie Willis performed the outside ceremony.
