SEBAGO – Two comedies will be presented at the Schoolhouse Arts Center at Sebago Lake. The one-act plays are “How Gertrude Stormed the Philosopher’s Club,” by Martin Epstein, about what happens when men get together alone to think; and “The Bald Soprano” by Eugene Ionesco, an absurdist comedy. These shows are not intended for children.

Dance Event No. 1, choreographed by Ryan McNally, will also appear at four of the nine performances.

Shows will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 6, and Saturday, Aug. 7; at 5 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 8; and at 7:30, Monday, Aug. 9, and Tuesday, Aug. 10th, Thursday, Aug. 12, and Friday, Aug. 13. Shows Saturday, Aug. 14, will be at 2 and 7:30 p.m. No show on Wednesday, Aug. 11. Tickets: $8 for students, seniors; $10 for general admission. Call 232-9720.
