SOUTH YARMOUTH, Mass. – The wedding of Melissa Anne Cotter and Brian Fred Flagg was held at 1 p.m. on May 15 at Our Lady of Assumption Church. The Rev. Tarher Davegignon officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Flagg is the daughter of Helen Cotter of Marston Mills, Mass. Mr. Flagg is the son of Diane Flagg of Lewiston.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white strapless gown and carried a bouquet of white tulips.

Elizabeth Cotter was maid of honor for her sister and bridesmaids were Tava Cotter, Mandi Woodard and Amy Flagg, sisters-in-law and Jennifer LaCasse and Amy Brown, friends.

Serving as best man for his brother was Joe Baiungo and ushers were Larry Flagg, another brother, Mike Therriault and Brian LaCasse, friends, Patrick Cotter and Timothy Cotter, brothers-in-law, and Andrew Davis, nephew.

A reception followed at the Hyannis Golf Course, after which the couple traveled to the Dominican Republic. They are residing in South Yarmouth, Mass.

The bride is a 1998 graduate of Bridgewater State College and is employed at Bank North.

The bridegroom is a graduate of the New England Institute of Technology and is employed at Over the Top Roofing.
