GREENE – The teachers and staff of Fellowship Christian Academy are preparing for an open house from 5:45 to 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 13, at the school, corner of Sawyer and Bergeron Road. Classes will begin Sept. 1.

The academy is a Christian-based prekindergarten through grade eight school with a maximum of 36 students to allow for more one-on-one teaching time.

The school is a result of a longtime vision of its affiliate church, Greene Fellowship Church, pastored by Pastor Robert Giguere, a retired schoolteacher.

Giguere taught in public schools in Lewiston for more than 28 years. Teachers and staff will be available to answer questions as well as display the ABEKA curriculum.

Fellowship Christian Academy is incorporated as a private school offering a wholesome education with an emphasis on moral and Christian training for students of any denomination. Openings are still available.
