STRONG – The Strong Nursing Home announces Alice Rhyder as Employee of the Month. She is noted for the many meals and treats she creates for everyone. Ryder is the day shift cook and has been creating meals for the residents for six years.

Almost daily comments are heard from staff, visitors and friends: “That smells delicious; what are you cooking Alice?” The kitchen is located in the center of the facility so the aromas spread throughout the home.

Ryder lives in Strong with her husband, Colby. Her three children are all grown, but she enjoys the many grandchildren. She also enjoys gardening and canning and making homemade jelly. Her hobbies include yard sales, reading and her big dog.
