BETHEL – Betsy Jane Gaudreau, 38, of Bethel, died unexpectedly at her residence on Wednesday, Aug. 11.

She was born in Rumford on Oct. 28, 1965, the daughter of Harold “Buster” and Mary Jane (Spinney) Gaudreau. She was educated in local schools and was a member of the 1984 class of Telstar High School and later graduated from Oxford Hills High School.

She was always thinking of other people and what she could do for them. She was an avid cook and liked to sew and do crafts. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the Rumford Grange.

She is survived by her paternal grandmother, Gertrude Gaudreau, of Saco; her parents, of Bethel; her companion, Raymond Tripp, of Bethel; four brothers, Jeoffrey Gaudreau and his companion Julie Kimball, of Bethel, Thomas Gaudreau and his wife, Diane, of Woodstock, David Gaudreau and his wife, Dale, of Greenwood and her twin brother, Bradley, of Woodstock; nine nieces and nephews; aunts, uncles and cousins.
