WEST PARIS – Linda A. Liimatta, 85, of West Paris, died Aug. 12, at the Ledgeview Living Center.

She was born in South Paris on April 19, 1919, the daughter of Oliver and Jessie (Rowe) Lawrence and was educated in local schools. She had worked as a dietary aide at the Ledgeview Living Center for 14 years before retiring in 1984. She married William Liimatta in 1946, he died in 1972.

She is survived by two daughters, Jill Liimatta and her husband, Ron, of Waterford and Tina Wilcox, of South Paris; two sons, Lee Bean, of West Paris and Michael Liimatta, of West Paris; a sister, Dorothy Eastman, of Bryant Pond; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
