SOUTH PARIS – The wedding of Tanya L. Casey and Richard J. Damon was held at 3 p.m. on June 19 at the Paris Hill Baptist Church in South Paris. Linwood Atwood, notary, officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Damon is the daughter of Diana Casey of Rumford and the late Alan Frost and Gary Casey of Rumford. Mr. Damon is the son of Joan Damon of West Paris and the late Henry Damon.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an off-white gown in halter style with accents on the V-shaped bodice, which was detailed with an embroidery pattern. The split front was accented with pearls and a full-length train. Her sister, Sonya Arsenault, made her veil. She carried a bouquet of fresh cut yellow lilies and purple roses.

Sonya Arsenault, sister of the bride, was honor attendant and bridesmaids were Shelly Frost, sister, and Kelly Applin and Lyndall Field, friends. Junior bridesmaids were Alexa Casey and Kendra Davis. Katrina and Ameila Hodgkins, nieces, were flower girls.

Howard Field served as best man for his best friend and ushers were Emery Gammon and Pete Berube, long-time friends, and Steven Arsenault, brother-in-law. Gavin Arsenault, nephew, and Quentin Damon, son, were ring bearers.

A reception followed at Lakeside Restaurant in Harrison, after which the couple traveled to Barbados. They are residing in West Paris.

The bride is a graduate of Mountain Valley High School in Rumford and Champlain College in Vermont. She is employed at CitiFinancial in Auburn.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Oxford Hills High School and served in the U.S. Army for four years. He is employed at UPS in Auburn.
