TURNER – “Stepping Up” was the theme for the SAD 52 certified nurses assistant program graduation held July 23 at Turner Primary School. Six students received their certificates from the course, offered by River Valley Adult Education of Greene, Leeds and Turner.

Director Bette J. Swett-Thibeault and instructor Alice Sammon handed certificates to Danielle Harper, Stefanie Belanger, Jean Provost, Michelle Nagy, Jill King and Misty Marshall.

Music and refreshments were offered after the ceremonies.

Another class will begin in September. Successful completion of the 150-hour course allows participants the opportunity to seek employment in a nursing facility.
