Sammie Angel has performed at the American Legion Post for the past six years when she is in Maine during the summer after spending the winter in Florida. She performs a variety of music, including patriotic, country and gospel, and provides lively commentaries.

A native of Wilton, Angel performs for area churches, organizations and at festivals. She has recorded two CDs, mostly of songs she has written. Her dog, Leo, performed with her, but due to illness, he is no longer in the show. She is training a new dog to take his place.

Angel’s husband and brother are serving in the military in Iraq.
