WEST PARIS – The 75th wedding anniversary of Elmer and Eda Wilson Waterhouse was celebrated recently at a week-long gathering at the Maine Houses in Bryant Pond, with family members attending.

The festivities started with a reception and refreshments at the Hope Thurlow Hall on June 18, followed by devotions at the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Perkins Valley. The greeters were their three children, daughters Gerri Austin and Gloria Fleming, and son, Dwight Waterhouse.

Their nephew, Pastor Lloyd Waterhouse, was speaker for vespers at the church. This was organized by granddaughter, Patty Murray.

There was also a reunion for the Waterhouse-Wilson families on June 20, with a catered luncheon. Guests also enjoyed riding on a pontoon party boat.

Guests attended from Oregon, California, Texas, Tennessee, Florida, North Carolina, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Virginia and many from Maine.
