LEWISTON – Florence L. Jumper, 100, formerly of 236 Russell St., died Friday, Aug. 27, at d’Youville Pavilion following a long illness.

She was born in New Brunswick, Canada, on June 29, 1904, the daughter of Daniel and Sara (Frasier) Dowling. She grew up and attended schools in New Brunswick and moved to this area in the 1920’s. She was a homemaker all of her life. She was the widow of Fred Jumper who died on June 20, 1994.

She was a member of St. Patrick’s Church and the Rosary Sodality of St. Patrick’s Parish.

She is survived by her daughter, Constance Reardon and her husband, Joseph, of Lewiston; her twin sons, David and his wife, Judith and Donald and his wife, Patricia, all of Lewiston; four grandchildren, Mark Jumper and his wife, Anne Marie, of Lewiston, Kathleen Burns and her husband, David, of Scarborough, Karen Schaill and her husband, Richard, of Rochester, N.H., and Lynn LePage and her husband, Michael, of Lewiston.

She was predeceased by three sisters, and four brothers.
