TURNER – The wedding of Melinda (Mindy) Rose Kelsey and Timothy Michel Fortin was held at 5 p.m. on May 15 at Turner Village Church. Pastor Nate Colson officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Fortin is the daughter of John and Diane Clairmont of Hartford. Mr. Fortin is the son of Michel and Cathy Fortin of Harrison and Jackie Fortin and Bob Marquis of Lewiston.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a sleeveless long white gown with lace overlay and embroidery, pearls and sequins. She carried a bouquet of deep red and light pink roses with stephanotis and adorned with rhinestones and trailing ivy.

Stacy Kubicki, friend, was the honor attendant and bridesmaids were Kari Poulin, friend, Angela Fortin, sister of the bridegroom, and Mykayla Warren, cousin of the bride. Rosemond Warren, cousin of the bride, was flower girl.

Jesse Robitaille, friend, was the best man and ushers were Ed Poulin, Nick Begin and Ryan Begin, cousins of the bridegroom, and Fred Kelsey, brother of the bride. Ashley Warren, cousin of the bride, was the ring bearer.

A reception followed at Lost Valley Lodge in Auburn, after which the couple traveled on a cruise to Bermuda. They are residing in Turner.

The bride is a graduate of Buckfield High School and the University of Southern Maine with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. She is owner of Diamond Cut Jewelers in Oxford.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Oak Hill High School and is attending Central Maine Community College for a degree in electrical technology. He is employed as an estimator at E.S. Boulos Co. in Lewiston.
