JAY – The wedding of Tanya J. Oldham and David E. Jordan was held at 1 p.m. on June 19 in Jay. The Rev. Richard Senghas officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Jordan is the daughter of Ralph and Mildred Oldham of Jay. Mr. Jordan is the son of Florence Jordan of Canton and the late Harold Jordan.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an ivory full-length gown which was off the shoulders. Her veil was made by family friend, Marnie Couture, and she carried a bouquet of ivory roses with greens and other summer flowers.

Jen White was matron of honor for her best friend and bridesmaids were Tara Oldham and Alexis Oldham, nieces of the bride. Melonie Jordan, niece of the bridegroom, was the flower girl.

Michael Richards, best friend of the bridegroom, served as best man and ushers were Brian Jordan, brother of the bridegroom, and Scotty R. Oldham, nephew of the bride.

A reception followed at Steppin Out in North Jay, after which the couple traveled to Disney World at a resort. They are residing in their new home.

The bride is a 1991 graduate of Jay High School and a 1993 graduate of New Hampshire Community College in Berlin, N.H., with an associate degree in office technology. She is employed at Wal-Mart.

The bridegroom is a 1983 graduate of Dirigo High School in Dixfield and served in the U.S. Navy in the Persian Gulf. He is employed as a mechanic at Allistra/Unimark Corp.
