LEWISTON – The wedding of Eileen Mary Hecker and Jacob Nathan Ouellette was held at 1 p.m. on April 17 at St. Joseph’s Church in Lewiston. The Rev. Michael Seavey officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Ouellette is the daughter of Ronald and Marilyn Hecker of Lewiston. Mr. Ouellette is the son of Thomas and Lisa Ouellette of Sebago and Robert and Patricia McAtee of Wales.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an elegant white gown, off the shoulder, with A-line skirt adorned with metallic embroidery and pink accents. She carried a spring bouquet of roses, snapdragons and Gerber daisies.

Ann Dillingham and Maureen Asadoorian, sisters of the bride, were matrons of honor and bridesmaids were Pamela Hecker, sister-in-law of the bride, Kristen and Allison Ouellette, sisters of the bridegroom, and Karen Backman, Gail Belanger and Linda Bernier, friends of the bride.

Eric Rhoades, friend of the bridegroom, was best man and ushers were Steve Hecker, brother of the bride, and Christian Steppe, Peter Luciano, Matt Roy, Jason Martin, Jim Peaks and Dave Cloutier, friends of the bridegroom. The ring bearers were Ryan, Kevin and Chris Dillingham, nephews of the bride.

A reception followed at Martindale Country Club in Auburn, after which the couple traveled to Sandals Resort in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. They are residing in Portland.

The bride is a graduate of Lewiston High School and the University of Maine at Orono with a master’s degree in elementary education. He is a kindergarten teacher at Wales Central School in Wales.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Lewiston High School and Husson College in Bangor. He is district manager for Aflac Insurance.
