TURNER – The wedding of Kari Ann Thorne and Travis Steven Mason was held at 1 p.m. on June 26 at Turner Village Church. Pastor Nate Colson officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Mason is the daughter of Rae and Roger Hughes of Auburn and Jimmy and Beth Thorne of Sebago. Mr. Mason is the son of Janice Baxter of North Turner and Phil and Diane Mason of North Turner.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, Jimmy Thorne, wore a white satin and lace gown with A-line skirt accented with pearls. She carried a bouquet of lavender larkspur with lavender lisianthus and light butter-colored baby roses in a teardrop cascade.

Nicole Ward was maid of honor for her best friend and bridesmaids were Katrina Sirois and Christina Thorne, sisters. Alissa Hutchins and Kelsea Gilbert, nieces of the bride, were flower girls.

Serving as best man for his friend was Freddie Ward and ushers were Gary Sirois, brother-in-law, and James Hutchins, friend. James Everett, cousin of the bridegroom, was the ring bearer.

A reception followed at the Boofy Quimby Hall in North Turner, after which the couple spent a week at Moosehead Lake in Rockwood. They are residing in North Turner.

The bride is a 1993 graduate of Edward Little High School and is currently employed at Optometric Associates in Lewiston.

The bridegroom is a 1989 graduate of Jay High School and is a welder with Local Union 716 of Augusta.
