SALEM – Aaron Adams and Sam Witherspoon each tallied a pair of goals to lift Mt. Abram to a 5-0 victory over Livermore Falls in boys’ soccer action Tuesday.

Blair Kemp also posted a goal for the Roadrunner (2-0). P.J. Ladd, Jordan Norton, and Witherspoon were each credited with assists.

Matt Labbe made 22 saves for Livermore Falls (0-1) .

Oxford Hills 4, Morse 2

MORSE – Jesse Strauss posted two goals and two assists to spark Oxford Hills to a 4-2 victory over Morse in soccer action Tuesday.

Tim Seames and Craig LaPlante both notched a goal apiece for the Vikings (1-1). Oxford Hills came from behind twice in the contest to eventually claim the win.

David LaRoach made 10 saves for the win. Kevin Hutchinson turned away seven shots for the Shipbuilders (1-1).

Dirigo 3, Telstar 2

BETHEL – Gary Holman scored twice to lead Dirigo to a 3-2 win over Telstar in boys’ soccer Tuesday.

Matt Chamberlin tacked on a goal and Lenny Hall had nine saves for the Cougars (1-1) in their win.

Lewis Thorton scored twice for the Rebels (0-1), while Terry Collins had 11 saves.

Hall-Dale 7, Jay 1

JAY – Oryan Lahti netted four of the seven Hall-Dale goals, leading the Bulldogs to a 7-1 win over Jay.

Adam Pratt added a goal and an assist for Hall-Dale (2-0), while Eric Cooper and Jon Frett each chipped in with a goal apiece. Sam Shain had a strong day offensively, recording four assists.

Leigh Trask beat the Hall-Dale defense to the ball to net the lone goal for the Tigers (0-1) effort.

Geo. Valley 3, Lisbon 0

THOMASTON – Zach Thorbjornson, Matt Poland, and Tom Rogers each netted a goal as defending state champion Georges Valley beat Lisbon 3-0 Tuesday.

Assists were made by Mark Chamberlain and Logan Radcliffe. The Buccaneers (2-0) scored all three of their goals within a seven-minute span in the first half.

Lisbon (0-2) pulled back their defense and boxed in the goal to hold off Georges Valley in the second half of the contest.

Carrabec 1, Winthrop 0

WINTHROP – Sam Shaw scored the unassisted game-winning goal with 1:34 remaining in the contest to lift Carrabec to a 1-0 victory over Winthrop in boys’ soccer action.

Shaw picked up the ball on the right post, and knocked it in to clinch the goal and the win for the Cobras (1-1).

Brunswick 6, EL 0

BRUNSWICK – Keith Vosmus tallied three goals as Brunswick defeated Edward Little 6-0 Tuesday afternoon.

Jon Wignadd, Elizah Lord, and Candali Benet each contributed a goal for the Dragons (2-0).

Brian Lemont made two saves in net for Brunswick for the shutout, while B.J. Levasseur stopped 18 shots for the Red Eddies (1-1).

Leavitt 6, Medomak Valley 0

WALDOBORO – Zach Burgess netted three goals and recorded one assist as Leavitt rolled past Medomak Valley 6-0 in boys’ soccer.

Jimmy Moreau added a goal and three assists, while Jeff Truchon chipped in with two goals for the Hornets’ season-opening win.

Brian Leighton turned away four shots to post the shutout victory, while Adam Mauro made 12 saves for the Panthers (0-2).

Mt. Blue 3, Lawrence 0

FARMINGTON – Zack Frechette netted a pair of goals to propel Mt. Blue to a 3-0 shutout over Lawrence in a KVAC boys’ soccer matchup Tuesday.

Andrew Pottle also scored for the Cougars (1-1) to complete the tally. Tom Anderson made 11 saves in net to earn the win.

Cory McPhail turned away 15 of 18 shots in net for the Bulldogs (0-2).

Wiscasset 4, Monmouth 2

WISCASSET – Craig Zetler notched two goals to lift Wiscasset to a 4-2 triumph over Monmouth in soccer action Tuesday evening.

Gerard Murphy and Matt Mcare each chipped in with a goal. Wiscasset (1-0) scored twice on corner kicks, and capitilized on Monmouth errors.

Andy Bellemore and Shane Kilber each scored a goal for Monmouth (1-1).
