Three area golfers notched a hole-in-one in recent play.

Barbara Ward of Bowdoin, registered an ace at The Meadows Golf Club at Litchfield on Sept. 2. She aced the #7 hole, 113-yards, using a 6-iron. Playing partners were David Ward and Mike Longley.

Rick LaChapelle collected a hole-in-one on the #15 hole Saturday at Prospect Hill in Auburn. Witnesses were Norm Rousseau and Larry Pease.

Mike Hutchinson of Auburn recorded an ace at Roy’s Par 3 in Auburn. He used a 7-wood on the 145-yard #6 hole. His mother and brother witnessed the feat, his second ace in a 36-year career.
