LEWISTON – Donald Richard Morin Sr., 67, of 37 Knox St., Lewiston, passed peacefully at home, Wednesday, Sept. 8.
He was born in Lewiston, on Feb. 10, 1937, the son of Levi and Lorraine Provencher Morin. He was educated in local schools, and worked for Androscoggin Die for 35 years as a metal bender. He was a fond member of the South End Social Club, he loved cooking, woodworking, and had a green thumb for gardening.
He is survived by four daughters, Trixie and husband, Donald Ouellet, of Topsham, Deborah Morin, of Portland, Jennifer Morin and her companion, Doug Bronk, of Lewiston, and Peggy Walton, of Auburn; one son, Daniel; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents, one son, Donald Richard Morin Jr., two daughters, Brenda Morin, and Sharon Morin, two brothers, Raymond, and Robert, and one sister, Irene.
