LEWISTON – The wedding of Nicole Irene Clavet and Derek Raymond Webb was held at 1 p.m. on June 5 at Bates College Chapel. Rachel Breton officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Webb is the daughter of Lou Clavet and Connie Clavet of Lewiston. Mr. Webb is the son of Dwight Webb of Lewiston and Debra Webb of Monmouth.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white gown in halter style, delicately accented with pearls and beads. She carried an arrangement of silk white roses and lilacs in her bouquet.

Anne Beaudry, best friend, served as maid of honor and bridesmaids were Vanessa Degroat, friend, and Maureen Clavet, sister-in-law.

Matt Trundy served as best man and ushers were Damien Cloutier, brother of the bridegroom, and Brian Clavet, brother of the bride. Joel and Dean Clavet, nephews of the bride, served as ring bearers.

A reception followed at the Elks Lodge in Lewiston, after which the couple traveled to Las Vegas. They are residing in Lewiston.

The bride is a 1995 graduate of Lewiston High School and is employed as a group team leader at Banknorth.

The bridegroom is a 1995 graduate of Lewiston High School and a 1999 graduate of Central Maine Technical College. He is employed as a licensed plumber at Johnson and Jordan Mechanical Contractors in Scarborough.
