LEWISTON – The wedding of Lisa A. Cummings and Erik R. Kramer was held on Aug. 7 at the Bates College Chapel. Peter Burbank officiated at the ceremony and was assisted by the brother of the bridegroom, Christopher Kramer.

Mrs. Kramer is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Paul Cummings of Wayne. Mr. Kramer is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Kramer of Issaquah, Wash.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. Bridal attendants were Deborah Hardaker and Megan Sutton, friends of the bride, and Kristin Palmer, cousin of the bride. Emily Palmer served as flower girl.

Groomsmen were Anton and Greg Kramer, brothers of the bridegroom, and Scott Cummings, brother of the bride.

A reception followed the ceremony at the Sedgley Place in Greene. The couple is residing in Seattle.

The bride is a graduate of Bates College and is enrolled as a graduate student at Columbia University in New York.

She is currently teaching at the Lakeside School in Seattle.

The bridegroom graduated from the University of Puget Sound and holds a master’s degree in education from Seattle Pacific University.

He is employed as a teacher at Tyee High School in SeaTac, Wash.
