BRUNSWICK – Vivian V. Caron, 89, of Lombard Street., died Saturday, Sept. 11, at a local hospital.

She was born in Lewiston, June 12, 1915, the daughter of Louis G. and Olivette Mathieu Caron. She attended school at Lospece Marcotte.

On July 1, 1939, she married Amable A. Caron and they moved to Brunswick where they made their home.

Vivian worked at the Verney Mill, Clark Shoe in Lewiston, Jay Brush, and the Freeport Shoe Company for many years.

She was a communicant of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church of Brunswick, member of the Ladies of St. Anne, Daughters of Isabella, and the 3rd Order of Mary.

In her spare time Vivian enjoyed knitting, cooking, sewing, working in her yard and taking care of her home.

She and her husband had many happy times at Richard and Rita Pelletier’s summer home on Pleasant Pond in Litchfield. Vivian and Amable were always together, traveling to Florida and California.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was predeceased by two brothers, Bertrand and Rene Ouellette.
