SOUTH PARIS – Phyllis L. Perreault, 87, of South Paris, died Saturday, Sept. 11, at Market Square Health Care Center.

Born in Mechanic Falls, Feb. 26, 1917, the daughter of Benjamin and Alice Goodwin Strout, she graduated from Mechanic Falls High School.

She had been a homemaker all of her life. She married Harry L. Perreault on April 19, 1939, who passed away in 1987.

She enjoyed knitting.

Survivors include five sons, Marchian Crane of Mechanic Falls, Benjamin Perreault of Norway, David Perreault of Mechanic Falls, Michael Perreault of Greenwood, and Jon Perreault of Massachusetts; a daughter, Joan Haskell of Massachusetts; many grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a son, Edmund Perreault; a daughter, Judith Girard; a sister, Helen Syphers; and two brothers, Harold Thorpe and Clyde Thorpe.
