LEWISTON – Shawn M. Fitzsimmons, 24, a resident of 2161 Lisbon Road, died Saturday, Sept. 11, as a result of a tragic accident.
He was born in Lewiston, Dec. 4, 1979, the son of Danny E. and Lisa (Casscadden) Fitzsimmons. Shawn attended Lewiston and Auburn schools, and was a 1998 graduate of Lewiston High School. He also had attended Elmira College in New York.
He had recently been employed with Bonney Temporary Services.
He enjoyed his music, movies, computer, and his pride and joy being his own car. He also enjoyed hanging out with his friends. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include his parents, Lisa and Danny Fitzsimmons; his grandmothers, Elizabeth Turcotte, and Jane Sage; his grandfathers, Kenneth Casscadden, and Richard Sage; and best friends, Joseph Chase and Sahara.
He was predeceased by his grandfather, Rene Turcotte; and great-grandmothers, Gevena Casscadden and Hazel Joyce.
