HEBRON – Ralph A. Robinson, 51, of 225 Allen Road, Hebron died Sept. 13, at home with his barn boots on.
He was born in Lewiston on Feb. 5, 1953, the son of the late Niles D. and Doris Walker Robinson. He was raised on a dairy farm on the Witham Road in South Auburn. He graduated from Edward Little High School in 1971. He married his childhood sweetheart, Dawn A. Tabor on Sept. 14, 1974.
As a young man, he was employed by H.A. Libby and Sons of Auburn. In 1983, he became a partner of LIBRO Farm Inc., with Dwight and Arlene Libby. After changes in the Maine farm industry he was employed by Bastesville Casket Co. of Auburn since 1988.
Along with his wife, Dawn, he was an Oxford County 4-H leader. He was also a logistics expert for the Golden Fleece and Fiber Club. As a family, the Robinsons are members of the Hebron Community Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Dawn, his son, Allen, his two daughters, Amanda and Meredith and his son-in-law, Bob; his two sisters, Cheri and her husband, Lee Richard, of Bangor, and Merry Robinson, of Farmington; his mother-in-law, Melba Reynolds, of Auburn; he was fortunate to have an additional family, Dwight and the late Arlene Libby, of Auburn, Judy Vardamis, Diane Francoeur, and Kendall Libby, and their families; he was blessed with many cousins, nieces and nephews whom he loved very much.
He was a beloved and cherished husband and father and a valued community member. His booming laugh will be remembered by all who knew him.
