POLAND – The seventh annual Bruce M. Whittier Memorial Scholarship Golf Tournament at Fairlawn Golf Course raised over $3,000. The funds will be used towards scholarships for eligible Poland Regional High School seniors.

Taking low gross honors was the team of Karen Nichols, Bob Turner, Bob Nichols and Chas Felker. Second place went to the combination of Sandi Piper, Colleen Baird, Zack Lenahan and Bob Pomerleau. Finishing third was the team of Dan Roundtree, Joe Hernandez, Flint Travis and Steve Spencer.

On the net side, the team of Sam Libby, Scott Libby, Bob Ferland and John Fletcher, finished first, followed by the team of Tom Jordan, Kevin Chapman, Jason Seavey and Pete Fernald. Third place went to Jeff Goss, Rosanna Goss, Erica Fennessy and Scott Albert.

Long drive awards went to Karen Nichols and Mike Labree. Bob Turner won closest to the pin honors.

The event was supported by many local businesses, organizations and friends.
