AUBURN – The wedding of Jennifer Anne Jacques and Dennis Michael Lacombe was held at 1 p.m. on July 17 at Sacred Heart Church. Deacon Denis Mailhot officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Lacombe is the daughter of Ron and Connie Jacques of Auburn. Mr. Lacombe is the son of Robert and Claudette Lacombe of Sabattus and Lorraine and Maynard Brown of Minot.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. Mary Syphers and Jayne Bilodeau, sisters of the bride, were attendants. Flower girls were Kate Bilodeau and Elise Syphers, nieces of the bride, and Michelle Boutin, niece of the bridegroom.
Rick Lacombe, brother of the bridegroom and Mike Bilodeau, brother of the bride, were attendants for the bridegroom. Ring bearers were Ricky Lacombe, nephew of the bridegroom, and Matthew Syphers, nephew of the bride.
A reception followed at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Lewiston. Following a wedding trip to Jamaica, the couple is residing in Auburn.
The bride received a degree in elementary education from Assumption College. She is a first grade teacher at Elm Street School in Mechanic Falls.
The bridegroom served four years in the U.S. Air Force and is employed as a BMW technician at Bill Dodge in Westbrook.
