LEWISTON – Blanche A. Perron, 99, of 2 Ralph Ave., Lewiston, died Thursday, Sept. 23, at D’Youville Pavilion following a short illness.

She was born in St. Frederic, P.Q. on Feb. 15, 1905, the daughter of Napoleon and Leda (Lessard) Huard, and had been a resident of this community for most of her life.

She was a homemaker for many years.

She was the widow of Arthur Perron whom she married on July 15, 1930, and who died on May 1, 1970.

Mrs. Perron was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Church, and a member of Ladies of St. Ann, Cercle d’Youville and Les Artisans.

She always enjoyed tending to her flowers and gardening.

She is survived by five sons, Aime Gagne, of Auburn, Normand Perron, and his wife, Jeannine, of Lewiston, Claude Perron, and his wife, Patricia, of Lewiston, Ronald Perron, and his wife, Monique, of South Portland, Paul Perron, of Boston, Mass.; one step-son, Marcel Perron, and his wife, Leona, of Lisbon; two daughters, Doraine Pomerleau, of Poland, and Liane Charest, and her husband, Gerard, of Lewiston; one sister, Lucienne Malo of Montmigny, P.Q.; 18 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by one son, Gerard Perron.
