LEWISTON – The wedding of Kristen Carolyn Schulze and Steven James Muszynski was held at 10 a.m. on July 17 at Saints Peter and Paul Church. The Rev. Andrew Dubois officiated at the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Martin and Lise Schulze of Lewiston. The bridegroom is the son of George and Mary Ann Muszynski of Manchester, N.H.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a traditional white gown with long sleeves with beads and long train. She carried a bouquet of white and violet roses and orchids with ivy and limonium.

Elizabeth Cloutier, cousin of the bride, was maid of honor and matron of honor was the bride’s sister, Carolyn Haynes. Flower girls were Emily and Sylvia Schulze, nieces of the bride.

David Schulze, brother of the bride, performed the duties of best man and usher was Daniel Muszynski, brother of the bridegroom. Orion Haynes, nephew of the bride, was the ring bearer.

A reception followed at Lost Valley Lodge in Auburn, after which the couple traveled to Caesar’s Pocono Palace at Marshalls Creek, Pa. They are residing in Biddeford.

The bride is a 2004 graduate of St. Joseph’s College with a bachelor’s degree in communications (journalism). She is employed as an on-air weekend DJ for the Portland Radio Group (WMGX) and is a staff writer at the Biddeford Journal Tribune.

The bridegroom is a 2001 graduate of St. Joseph’s College with a bachelor’s degree in biology. He is employed as a research associate at Binax, Inc.
