RUMFORD – Roy and Cheryl McLean of Rumford celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary on Aug. 18, with the renewal of their wedding vows at the Mexico Congregational Church. The Rev. Virginia Snapp-Cunningham officiated at the services.

Mrs. McLean was escorted by her father, Eugene Groleau. The couple was accompanied by their children, Amie and Mike Jacques and Eric McLean and April Holt, and their grandchildren, Ashley, Alyssa, Cody and Ian Jacques. Several family members and friends attended.

Mrs. McLean is the daughter of Eugene and Barbara Groleau of Canton and the granddaughter of Mammy and the late Delmont (Gramps) Davenport. Mr. McLean is the son of the late Russell and Jessie McLean Sr. of Rumford.

She is employed at Western Maine Community Action at the Rumford and Wilton Career Centers as a youth employment counselor and he is employed at Motion Industries of Rumford in shipping and receiving. They both work part time for Oxford Lanes Bowling Center of Rumford.

A party was given for the couple at the bowling center, catered and hosted by the owners and friends, Rick, Deb and Stephen Nokes.

The couple traveled to the Maine coast for their second honeymoon.
