DIXFIELD – In a few months, SAD 21’s consolidated school board will begin work on its first budget. Earlier this year, SAD 21 merged with Peru.
At 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 27, at Dirigo High School, Superintendent Tom Ward is scheduled to provide directors with a budget timeline.
Other agenda items include a report on the Palesky tax cap initiative, and an update on meetings with PDT Architects and with the Department of Education’s school construction department.
Site research with Bill Hoffman is also on the meeting’s agenda.
The consolidated district – Canton, Carthage, Dixfield and Peru – is in the process of locating and buying land on which to build a new 300-pupil elementary school.
