CASCO – Carleton John Polland Jr., 70, of Spiller Road, died unexpectedly at his home on Sept. 30.
He was born in Lewiston on May 9, 1934, a son of Carelton and Evelyn Polland.
He lived his entire life in Casco and attended Casco High School.
Carelton was an avid outdoorsman. He loved hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and spending time at his camp in Upton.
Surviving include his wife, Gladys, of Casco; four daughters, Susan Robinson, of Naples, Pam Meredith, of Casco, Julie Andrews, of Pembroke, Mass., Mary Morelli, of Otisfield; his son, John Polland, of Gainsville, Fla.; two brothers, Clayton, of Otisfield, and Merlen, of Newry; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents; his son, Scott; and his grandson, Jeff Nelson.
