God made the autumn weather and scenes,
To take place of the flowers and springy green.
He did it, not to spite us,
But rather out of love,
It’s like a giant renovation,
Only from Above.
The orange of the tongues of fire sent from the Holy Ghost,
The gold of the tabernacle holding the Pleased Host.
The brown of the clay, by which God made man,
The red of the sunset, as beautiful as God’s eternal plan.
