AUBURN – Central Maine Community College will offer a leadership program, “Understanding Your Leadership Effectiveness” (CCS 084-01), from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 5.

The cost of $245 and includes lunch, complete leadership assessment tool ($95 value), materials and certificate of completion with .7 CEU’s. The Leadership Effective Analysis assessment tool must be completed and returned by Oct. 8. A brief pre-session assignment is also required.

The course will provide participants with personalized LEA feedback describing their individual approach to leadership. Participants will gain an awareness of the behaviors measured in the Leadership Profile sets and develop insights into their strengths and developmental needs in relationship to effective leadership practices. Participants will also learn critical leadership practices, personal assets and developmental needs of leadership behavior and action strategies to leverage leadership strengths and needs.

The program will be presented by Carol Ryan Ertz, who is a certified facilitator in a variety of executive, leadership and teambuilding programs. She has taught courses at Colby College, the University of Southern Maine, the American Society for Training and Development International Conference and other professional conferences.

She has 20 years experience in human resource development with an extensive background in instructional design, facilitation, and consulting skills.
