AUBURN – The wedding of Joy Allison Ayotte and Andre Raymond Levesque was held at 1 p.m. on June 19 at the Hilton Garden Inn in Auburn. Gene Gilbert, notary public, officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Levesque is the daughter of Joanne Bell of Lewiston and Maurice Ayotte of Auburn. Mr. Levesque is the son of Jeanine and Curt Arey of Lewiston and the late Sylvio Levesque.

The bride was given in marriage by her son, Branden Wilson. Carol Ridlon, friend of the bride, attended as maid of honor and Taija Ayotte, daughter of the bride, was matron of honor.

Marc Levesque performed the duties of best man for his brother, and usher was Branden Wilson, son of the bride.

A reception followed at the Hilton Garden Inn, after which the couple traveled to Freeport in the Bahamas.

The bride is a 1992 graduate of Edward Little High School and is employed at Work Opportunities Unlimited of Auburn.

The bridegroom is a 1988 graduate of Lewiston High School and is employed as a police officer for the city of Auburn.
