BOSTON, Mass. – The wedding of Karrie Jo French and Gabriel Joseph Canavan was held at 3 p.m. on Aug. 7 in an outdoor ceremony at Castle Island in South Boston. Linda Wood-Boyle, United Methodist minister, officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Canavan is the daughter of Monica Bryant of Turner and Richard French of Hartford. Mr. Canavan is the son of Mary Canavan of Mansfield, Mass., and Eric Glastetter of Boston, Mass.
The bride wore a full-length ivory gown and also wore a flower ring in her hair. She carried a bouquet of mixed roses.
A reception followed at Anthony’s Pier 4. The couple is residing in South Boston, Mass.
The bride is a graduate of Leavitt Area High School and the University of Maine at Farmington. She is currently employed as case manager at Home Start in Cambridge, Mass.
The bridegroom is attending the University of Massachusetts in Boston. He is employed at W.B. Mason in Boston, Mass.
