AUBURN – The wedding of Elaine B. Westleigh and Joseph J. Brackett Jr. was held at noon on July 24 at the Auburn United Methodist Church. The Rev. Richard A. Cullen officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Brackett’s parents are deceased, but her brother, Rick Goyette, gave her in marriage. Mr. Brackett is the son of Joseph J. Brackett Sr. of West Paris and Dian Martin of Poland.

The bride wore a white floor-length satin gown with halter top and beads throughout. She carried a bouquet of white roses with baby’s breath.

Debbie Pabst, sister, was maid of honor and bridesmaids were Emily and Sarah Westleigh, daughters, and Diane Labbe, best friend. Kiana Knowlton, niece of the bridegroom, served as flower girl.

Performing the duties of best man was James Provost, best friend of the bridegroom, and ushers were Joel Brackett, brother, Albert Brackett, cousin, and Rick France, friend. Danie Brackett, son, was the ring bearer.

A reception followed at C&J Hall in Lewiston, after which the couple traveled to New Hampshire. They are residing in Lewiston.

The bride is a graduate of Lewiston High School and is employed in the Social Services Department for the city of Lewiston.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School and is employed as plant technician at Tambrands.
