AUBURN – Paul G. Caron is serving as musical director for “Man of La Mancha,” opening Community Little Theatre’s 65th season in October.

The score contains one of the most moving moments in musical theater when Don Quixote relates his personal credo in “The Impossible Dream.” Based on the classic Spanish novel “Don Quixote” by Miguel de Cervanes, the play is set in 16th century Spain during the Inquisition.

Directed by Celeste Philippon, the Tony Award winning musical by Dale Wasserman, Mitch Leigh and Joe Darion, will run Oct. 15 to 30 at Great Falls Performing Arts Center, Academy Street. Curtain is at 8 p.m. and at 2 p.m. on Sundays.

Caron has been musical director for many plays at CLT and most recently was seen in the sold-out performances of “Forever Plaid,” where he played Frankie.

Advance tickets are $15 and $13 and may be reserved by calling the box office at 783-0958 or accessing the theater’s Web site at www.laclt.com.
