PARIS – Foster-Carroll Post 72, American Legion, and Auxiliary members of South Paris will have as guests at their 6 p.m. potluck supper on Wednesday, Oct. 13, three delegates from Girls State, their parents, six delegates from Boys State, their parents, officials from Girls and Boys States and two representatives from the American Legion baseball team. Auxiliary members are requested to bring extra food.

The Auxiliary has gained two members. So far, 102 have paid their dues and 24 remain unpaid. The toy party held on Sept. 12 yielded a profit of $1,120.

The Auxiliary is collecting canned food to send to the local Community Food Pantry and members can continue to bring donations for that and for a Chinese auction that will be held on Nov. 13.

Plans are being made to hold an initiation of new members on Oct. 21 if they respond to Marilyn Ramsay soon. The unit will hold a public craft fair at the Legion Hall on Oct. 23. Refreshments of corn chowder, sandwiches and dessert bars will be served.

Plans are also being made for holding the annual Halloween party on Sunday, Oct. 31. The members will do set-up on Oct. 30.
