AUBURN – The Woman’s Literary Union, 19 Elm St., is inviting the public to its Apple Festival from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 16, at the clubhouse.
The festival will feature “The Apple Core,” a boutique with all items having an apple decor or motif. The “Apple Bakeshop” will feature desserts and pastries, all made with apples.
A light luncheon will be served at the “Apple Diner,” including sandwich, beverage, chips and an apple dessert. There will be coffee, muffins and doughnuts in the morning.
The committee members working on the first-time activity for the Woman’s Literary Union are Tonie Ramsey, Phyllis Splain, Mary Goss, Sylvia Plossay and Gertrude DeSanctis.
