LEWISTON – Montello Elementary School will hold its first Fall Festival of Families from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 16. There will be activities and attractions for all ages.

Activities will include children’s games, pony rides, a Dragon Bounce, wagon rides, raffles, 50/50, an American Girl doll raffle, Day’s Jewelry quarter-carat diamond ring raffle, children’s crafts, an auction table, a pumpkin and mum table, a bake table, regifting table and gift-wrapping table.

A caf will serve hamburgers, hot dogs, lobster roll, and chili all day, and there will be fried dough, French fries, popcorn and cotton candy.

Health and safety services such United Ambulance, Lewiston Police Department and their K9 Unit, Lewiston Fire Department and LifeFlight will be on hand to answer questions and provide handouts.

The Lewiston High School Marching Band will perform at 12:30 p.m. The band is directed by Wayne Strout. Performing at 1 p.m. will be Pelletier’s Karate demo team and the Maine Events Cheer and Training Center.

Jinx and Dee the clowns will provide comedy skits with some audience participation, facepainting, and balloon sculpturing. They will perform between 10 a.m. and noon. Mark Peillett of Music Reflection will be the DJ for the event. WGME will also be present.

All are welcome and admission is free.
