LIVERMORE FALLS – The monthly Chinese auction was held Oct. 11 when the Livermore Falls-Jay Senior Citizens met at Murray Hall.

Co-Chairwoman Shirley Toncer led the meeting with 28 members present and read a story about the life of Christopher Columbus in observance of Columbus Day.

Lucile Frechette was welcomed back and sign-up was continued for the Monday, Oct. 25, meal to be served by SeniorsPlus. The drawing was won by Blanche Bilodeau and the basket of apples, donated by the Daughters of Isabella, was won by Jean Luciano.
