FARMINGTON – Dawnalyn McAllister, 54, of Oxford, died Saturday, Oct. 16, at Franklin Memorial Hospital.
Born in Norway, Jan. 23, 1950, the daughter of Merle and Ruby Johnson Jack, she graduated from Oxford High School in the Class of 1968.
She married Justin McAllister on Oct. 6, 1974, and had been a homemaker all of her life. She was a member of the Maine Country Music Association and the Downeast Country Music Association.
She is survived by a daughter, Sheila Varney; and four grandchildren, Edith, Caleb, Sierra and Skyla.
She was predeceased by her husband on May 9, 2003.
