RUMFORD – The Oxford County Republican Headquarters-Rumford Branch held its grand opening on Sept. 14. The office is located on Congress Street across from the Muskie Building.
Republican candidates for Oxford County were on hand to celebrate the opening of the office, which will coordinate campaign activities and inform voters about election issues.
Oxford County Republicans now have two field offices in the county, the other one being in Norway. The public is welcome to stop by both.
The Republicans had a booth at Fryeburg Fair from Oct. 3 through 10. The motto this year is “Every Vote Counts” as Maine is considered a battleground state in the national election on Nov. 2.
