AUBURN – The St. Dominic Regional High School’s Drama Society will present Neil Simon’s “The Odd Couple” Nov. 5 and 6.

The story begins in the apartment of Oscar Madison, played by Joe Vining, where the guys are playing their Friday night poker game. But one of their players is missing.

Audience members will meet the poker buddies through a series of comedic conversations.

Murray is played by Kyle Levasseur, Vinnie by Jonathan Kuhl, Roy by Michael Defiore and Speed by Matthew Defiore.

The missing player, Felix Unger, played by Adam Blais, eventually turns up, after being thrown out of his apartment by his wife of 12 years.

Oscar takes Felix into his home, and the battle begins. Oscar is a messy, carefree and disorganized slob and Felix a neurotic, sterilizing neat freak. Can these two survive London broil, disinfectant, linguini and the Pigeon sisters, played by Katie St. Pierre and Whitney Danse?

The production will begin at 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 5, and Saturday, Nov. 6, at the high school, 121 Gracelawn Road. People may call 782-6911 for reservations.

Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for students and seniors.
