AUBURN – The wedding of Melissa Diane Rodriguez and Evan Richard Hutchinson was held at 4 p.m. on Aug. 14 at the home of the bridegroom’s mother in Auburn. Gil Steward, justice of the peace, officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Hutchinson is the daughter of Barbara Strucinski of Auburn and Carlito Rodriguez of West Haven, Conn. Mr. Hutchinson is the son of Linda Bourgoin of Auburn and Dana Hutchinson of Auburn.

The bride wore a white halter style gown and carried a bouquet of Stargazer lilies, roses and carnations.

Christine Gagnon, best friend, was matron of honor and Jamie Bourgoin, sister of the bridegroom, was bridesmaid. India Cowles, friend, was the flower girl.

Jesse Hutchinson performed the duties of best man for his brother and Thomas Rodriguez, brother of the bride, was groomsman.

A reception followed at the home of the bridegroom’s grandparents in Auburn, after which the couple traveled to the White Mountains of New Hampshire. They are residing in Auburn.

The bride attended high school and is employed as a childcare professional.

The bridegroom attended high school and is employed at Eastern Fire Protection.
