RUMFORD – On Sunday, Oct. 31, instead of the regular morning service, the Rumford United Methodist Church on Linnell Street will have an All Hallow’s Eve memorial gathering for meditation and scripture. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., all, members and non-members are welcome to come and go at will.
Candles will be available to light in memory and honor of someone who has had a role in spiritual growth. There will be ongoing communion and quiet background music. There will also be a place to sit and do journaling. In an adjoining room, there will be lectionary reading each half hour.
The Sunday school students will meet at their regular time of 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
