AUBURN – Sgt. Henry C. Sherman III has been assigned as a recruiter to the U.S. Army Recruiting Station in Auburn.

Sherman is a 1994 graduate of South Charleston High School and has attended Marshall University. He was previously assigned to Fort Carson, Colo., where he served in the military occupational specialty of infantryman. Other assignments have included Fort Polk, La., and Fort Bragg, N.C.
